Whilst conditions have softened the Hunter area continues to be a strong employment market thanks to the strong price for coal and significant local infrastructure projects.

Heavy Vehicle Mech
Although currently working, our Candidate is seeking his next challenge as a workshop HV Mechanic, local to the Rutherford or surrounding area.
With experience across Defence, Mining and the Trucking industry, our Candidate has had exposure to fixed plant, haul trucks, highway trucks and mining equipment across an approximate 8 year period.
His skillset includes diagnostic, preventative maintenance, service and repair works. With a need to give 2 weeks’ notice, our candidate is open to new day shift opportunities in the Lower Hunter region, ideally close to his family home in Rutherford.
Operator | Earthmoving
Living on the outskirts of Maitland, our Candidate is well positioned geographically for works across the Lower Hunter, Upper Hunter, Port Stephens and Newcastle areas.
Growing up on the land he brings a hardworking work ethic along with a practical skillset in relation to general labouring based duties.
From an Operating perspective our Candidate has a competent skillset in operating up to a 30 ton Excavators, 40 ton Articulated Dump Trucks plus Posi Tracks, Rollers and Front End Loaders. Having had experience across Civil, Residential and Mining works, he is well versed for bulk earthworks and available for an immediate start.
Warehouse | Labourer
Having worked in heavy industrial as a Labourer and more recently Warehousing and Landscaping, our Candidate offers a varied skillset and a positive approach in taking on new opportunities.
Feedback from our Clients to date has been positive for short-term labour-hire opportunities around reliability and work output.
With a current drivers license, transport and NSW Whitecard, our candidate has the physical capacity to work across either a workshop or stores environment in processing orders and following procedures around goods in / goods out. Living in the East Maitland area, he is available for an immediate start and open to location of positions.
Construction Labourer
Our Candidate comes forward with experience across Building & Construction having completed his first year as an Apprentice Carpenter prior to his Employer closing their business and then transitioning across to a Trades Assistant position within the industry whilst seeking his next permanent role.
With a skillset including works across frames, flooring, ceilings, doors and walls for residential works and more recently modular buildings he has experience in using both power and handheld tools and excellent knowledge of requirements for the industry. His ideal role would be an opportunity enabling him to complete his Apprenticeship or an ongoing TA/Labouring role within the industry.
Sales | BD | Technical Sales
Currently working across Mining Services our Candidate is open to new industry opportunities including building, fabrication and manufacturing.
Initially a Boilermaker by Trade, he transitioned into the world of Sales as his career progressed off the tools.
With a technical mindset he has the capacity to learn new industry and enjoys being challenged and pushed outside of his comfort zone. Offering titles such as Area Manager, BDM, State Manager and Territory Sales Manager he brings a confident style as a Sales professional along with a solid career to date. He is required to give 2 weeks’ notice.
Senior Bookkeeper
Although not unhappy in her current position, our Candidate is open to experiencing a new challenge and brings confident all-round skills across Accounts and Payroll.
With experience in a number of Accounting Programmes such as MYOB & QuickBooks she is about to upskill across XERO which will see her offering a further skillset.
From Accounts Payable, Receivable through to Reconciliation of Accounts, BAS preparation, Reporting and Administration she offers a strong work ethic, professionalism, honesty and a positive outlook. With a Certificate IV in Accounting and living local to the Maitland area, our Candidate is available within a 2 week timeframe.
Reception | Admin | CS
Our Candidate has a strong history in Venue Management across the Hospitality sector and is ready to realign her skills into the corporate world.
Her ideal would be a role which includes gaining a Qualification whilst working and with a strong interest in a position which offers variation, she is open to both Role and Industry.
Our Candidate offers a confident communication style, personality and a professional image. She has a great understanding of the MS Office Suite of Programmes having completed skills testing and gaining 71% in MS Word. Living in Waratah, her ideal role would see her working in the Newcastle area. She is available for an immediate start.
Project Administrator
Having a background working within Engineering Teams, our Candidate brings a flair in her capacity to work across the scope of works in relation to projects.
From planning and tendering for works through to supporting across day to day responsibilities for a project team administratively, her efficiencies sees her with the ability to work across budgets, allocations and workflow processes.
Industries to date have included the likes of Manufacturing, Engineering, Mining and Defence and her skills extend to the likes of document control, site and project administration. With immediate availability, our candidate is ready for her next challenge and is open to direct employment or contract roles.
