Our Client is a WHS & Risk Management Consultancy Business based in Maitland area – the heart of the Hunter Valley.  Recent successes have seen their business continue to grow. They need to expand the team and have a new opportunity for a Safety Specialist consulting to clients works across a range of industries including construction, transport & manufacturing.

Your key responsibility will see you providing site safety/ risk management advice to the clients, employees and contractors across multiple projects, ensuring all are working in line with site requirements.  Most of your time will be based onsite, you will have work from home option for report writing etc and  administrative support is available within the business.

You will be technically proficient and have 3+ years of site safety practical experience, but most importantly you will be a strong communicator and able to utilise your skills and experience to shape safety on the project by influencing teams to adopt and adapt workplace safety into all tasks/activities and lead the culture of safety within this project.

Essential Criteria

  • Formal WHS qualifications – ideally diploma in WHS (Cert IV minimum)
  • 3 years minimum experience in industry
  • Report writing experience
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Confident computer skills
  • Proven experience to work within a Project Management Team

Highly Regarded

  • A specialisation within a particular industry sector
  • Lead auditing experience
