Trades Assistant

We are working with two unique clients that both need additional support and are seeking skilled Trades Assistants to join their team. 

Position 1
  • Assisting head batchers
  • Operating batching machinery and equipment
  • Spraying and applying cement to large steel piping 
  • Working in and around equipment & machinery
  • Using forklifts to move products through the workshop
  • Using overhead cranes to manoeuvre products around the workshop 
  • Standard 40 hour week available - half day Friday 
Essential:
  • White card 
  • Drivers licence 
  • A willingness to learn
  • Previous trade assistant experience
  • Forklift ticket 
Position 2 
  • Working along side boilermakers and fitters
  • Reading and interpreting plans and drawings 
  • Hand and power tool use 
  • Forklift operation 
  • Overhead crane use 
  • Guillotine use 
  • Press machine use 
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • 9 day fortnight + lots of OT on offer 
Essential: 
  • White card 
  • Drivers licence 
  • A willingness to learn
  • Previous trade assistant experience
  • Forklift ticket 
  • Dogman ticket not essential but handy
