WHS Consultant

Our Client is a WHS & Risk Management Consultancy Business based in Maitland NSW.  They have a broad range of clients across various industries and locations including Construction, Mining and Manufacturing within the NSW Hunter Valley, Sydney and the Central Coast.

In this instance we are recruiting for a WHS Consultant with heavy industry or construction experience to join their team This key role will provide site safety/ risk management advice to the business' and their employees. You will have the capacity to build client relationships, account managing clients and secure new work as part of the role. 

You will be technically proficient and have 3+ years of site safety experience, but most importantly you will be a strong communicator and able to utilise your skills and experience to shape safety on the project by influencing teams to adopt and adapt workplace safety into all tasks/activities and lead the culture of safety within this project. 

Essential Criteria

  • Diploma WHS  or Cert IV as a minimum
  • 3+ years minimum experience in construction industry
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills
  • Current Driver's License
  • Confident computer skills
  • Proven experience to work within a Project Management Team  
Highly Regarded
  • A specialisation within a particular industry sector
  • Lead auditing experience
  • Certificate IV Training & Assessment
