Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing high-quality clinical care to clients across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a key role in providing person-centred clinical services to promote the health and wellbeing of our clients. You will be responsible for managing the clinical aspects of care, ensuring high standards of documentation, and guiding the Disability Support Workers in providing optimal care based on individual client needs.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Providing wound care, medication training, and clinical advice to house coordinators and support workers.
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical care to clients in a group home setting all within the Cessnock LGA
  • Attending team meetings at our HQ (located in Cessnock).
  • Being flexible and adaptable to varying shift requirements, with an emphasis on working within the hours of 8 am to 8 pm.
Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA Nursing Registration.
  • Minimum 3 years of Registered Nurse experience.
  • Industry experience in Disability, Aged Care, or Home & Community Care.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Client Case Management Systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of care.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Further qualifications in Gerontology, Palliative Care, Dementia Care, or Community Nursing.
  • Cert IV in Assessment & Training.
  • Cert IV in Frontline Management or Supervisory/Management experience.
