Tool & Die Maker
Our Client has purchased an American Manufacturing business and relocated it to Maitland. The specialist team from America has setup most of the production equipment and it is time to recommence manufacturing. With this, they are in need of an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join their team on a fulltime basis.
Your responsibilities will see you construct, assemble, repair and maintain the calibration and installation of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and machines for the processing of metal. From selection of materials through to laying out, setting up and operating, your role will be relied upon to meet expected timelines for growing job orders.

Your experience includes:
- Trade qualification
- Experience in operating lathes
- Confidence in maintaining & repairing machinery as necessary
- Strong confidence in laying out of materials for machining operations including set up and operation of of equipment to tight tolerance
- Capacity to interpret job orders accurately and materials required efficiently
