Electrical Project Engineer
Our Client is a Newcastle based owned and operated organisation who design, supply, install, commission and maintain water and slurry pump systems for major infrastructure projects within mining, construction and related areas.
As an Electrical Project Engineer you will play a vital role in the maintenance and delivery of projects by delegating and corresponding with the available engineering resources.
Candidates with a Trade Background are encouraged to apply. You will bring a strong understanding of electrical scope of works, plus further education and Qualification in Project Engineering to support.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Project Engineer you will play a vital role in the maintenance and delivery of projects by delegating and corresponding with the available engineering resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and deliver projects to budget, scope, schedule and quality per project specifications
- Have an internal and external technical focal point in Project Execution
- Delegate and correspond with engineering resources and workshop
- Use Autocad for a small design component of the role
- Site commissioning
- Assist in organisation operations for company management
- Ongoing development and implementation of the QSE plan
- Ensure project operations are performed in accordance with requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on quality system performance
- Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- tertiary education in Electrical Engineering
- Good communication skills
- Experience with AutoCad
- Experience commissioning
- Trade qualification - ideal but not essential
