Jobs on the rise in 2018
The latest data from SEEK Employment Trends shows job ads continued to rise in January and the positive results stretched right across the country.
Opportunities on SEEK were up by 14.7% in January compared to the same time last year.
Strong opportunities continue in the mining, resources and energy sectors, with an increasing demand for science and technology skills in the engineering sectors.
Whats on the rise?
- The Mining, Resources & Energy Sector – increase of 54% on 2017
- Trades & Services – increase of 31% on 2017
- Human Resources – increase of 29%
- Construction – increase of 19%
