Trades Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant to join a busy fabrication workshop, supporting a team of experienced Boilermakers in an assembly-focused environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to develop their fabrication skills, and is looking for long-term employment with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting Boilermakers with fabrication and assembly tasks
  • Preparing materials, components, and tools for production
  • Grinding, cleaning, and finishing fabricated products
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • General workshop duties and housekeeping
  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials as required
  • Supporting the production team to meet project deadlines
About You
  • Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, Labourer, or in a manufacturing environment
  • Hold current Forklift Licence
  • Hold a current Dogging ticket - not essential 
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment
