Farmhand
Our client is one of Australia’s most renowned Thoroughbred horse studs located in the Upper Hunter region of NSW. Set in a pristine, secluded valley of natural beauty just one hour from Muswellbrook, this opportunity offers either casual or full-time permanent employment to suit your lifestyle and needs.
As a farmhand, you will be working early mornings and sometimes on the weekend. Primarily the work is outdoors and physically demanding which will require bending, lifting and standing for extended periods in all weather conditions.
Your day to day will include tending to crops, livestock and farm maintenance such as fencing, setting up and relocating irrigation systems, feeding & watering animals, cleaning out pens & barns, planting & fertilising etc.

- Physical fitness and ability to work long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of crop cultivation, livestock care, land farm machinery operation.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Attention to detail for monitoring crop and animal health
- Teamwork and time management skills to coordinate with farms managers and other workers
- Must have current Drivers Licence or heavy machinery certification and chemical certifcation.
- Must have Australian Working Rights and good command of the English Language
