Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading provider of innovative water management and pumping solutions. This is your chance to work with a company delivering cutting-edge systems for commercial, industrial, civil, and mining projects, helping clients achieve efficiency and sustainability.
In this role, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, develop a strong sales pipeline, and prepare proposals and presentations that win results. You will lead negotiations, close deals, and support contract development while meeting and exceeding sales targets. Your ability to build long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders will be essential, as will representing the company at industry events and networking functions.
Working closely with management and technical teams, you will collaborate on tailored solutions such as dewatering infrastructure, fire pump containers, water management systems, and mine site wash solutions. You will also contribute to pricing strategies, tender responses, and commercial modelling, while providing valuable market insights to support strategic growth.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a BDM or similar sales role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical or electrical infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to develop and close complex commercial deals
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience preparing proposals, tenders and project scopes
