Occupational Therapist

About the role You will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans using evidence-based interventions to improve clients' functional abilities. This community-focused position involves working across office, home and school environments with one dedicated day per week for home visits. You will collaborate closely with families, caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery within NDIS frameworks.

Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments across diverse settings
  • Develop personalised treatment plans using evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions and facilitate group programs
  • Provide behavioural support and community outreach services
  • Complete home visits to support clients in their natural environments
Skills & experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years' experience including community-based work and NDIS service delivery
  • Current Working with Children Check and national criminal background check
  • Full driver's licence with access to reliable vehicle
  • Strong collaborative mindset with excellent communication capabilities
