Trades Assistant

Our client is a leading manufacturer of cement lined and steel fabricated products supporting Australia's water infrastructure and construction projects. Currently, they are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Trades Assistant who is looking to advance their career within their Rutherford based workshop.

What you will be doing:
  • Working closely with Boilermakers and Welders
  • Grinding and preparing works for the Trades
  • Working with batching equipment & machinery
  • Using forklifts to move products through the workshop
  • Using various hand and power tools
  • Use overhead cranes
Essential:
  • Drivers licence 
  • A willingness to learn
  • Previous workshop TA experience
  • Forklift ticket - Desirable
