Receptionist - Motel Industry
Are you an experienced Motel Receptionist or are you working in a different industry and looking for a change? Our Client is seeking an experienced Receptionist who is committed to providing their guests with a quality excellent service during their stay.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and adaptable individual who is passionate about customer service! Experience in the industry is preferred but not essential – our Client is happy to train the right person who meets their personal requirements. This is a Maitland based role offering fulltime hours, however some flexibility to work school hours is also an option.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience.
Room Bookings & Rates: Manage room bookings, provide accurate rate quotations, and assist with reservations as required.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest enquiries and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective solutions.
Accounts: Handle point-of-sale transactions, including processing payments and managing EFTPOS.
Social Media & Marketing: Promote the business via social media, update the website, and run weekly campaigns.
Additional Motel Duties: Be flexible in assisting with other motel needs such as assisting within the restaurant or basic housekeeping matters

- Experience as a Receptionist, ideally within a fast paced customer service setting
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
- Positive, motivated attitude with a friendly and bubbly personality
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a team player
