Contracts Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator  for a fulltime role in Wollongong on behalf of our Client.

In this role, you will provide administrative and contractual support across multiple, simultaneous projects, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish. You will work closely with Project Managers assisting with the administration of client contracts, procurement processes, and subcontractor management, while maintaining a strong focus on compliance and quality control.

Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
  • Ensuring all paperwork is up-to-date and accessible, enabling seamless project coordination.
  • Managing client contracts | preparing variations and notices, and reviewing subcontractor monthly progress claims and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with project terms.
  • Overseeing the contract management of suppliers and subcontractors | negotiating and reviewing contracts to ensure favorable terms for the business.
  • Preparing subcontract contracts and related documentation
  • Procuring project materials in accordance with construction schedules to ensure timely delivery.
Essential Criteria:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator, specifically on projects valued up to $10M
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the building trades and construction practices across the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering commercial construction projects successfully
  • Preference for candidates with experience in new build construction projects
  • Advanced computer skills, ideally with experience in Procore or similar project management software.
