We are seeking a motivated person who is focused on driving sales growth for this Maitland based, locally owned organisation. You will need prior sales experience to be considered for this role, be self-motivated, present in a professional manner and have strong communication skills
Reporting to the Business Owner this role will see you responsible for selling, developing and promoting confectionery product across a wide variety of stores across the retail and hospitality sectors. Your target audience is the general public purchasing from businesses such as gift shops, service stations, pharmacies, newsagents, florists etc.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Account Management – building on new and existing relationships
- Developing and executing on sales strategies
- Prospecting for new clients through cold calls – both in person and phone
- Exceeding sales targets and meeting KPI targets
- Willing to work across the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, Central Coast areas with work expanding areas such as Dubbo, Tamworth and along the NSW North Coast
Essential Criteria
- A proven track record in new business sales across retail or wholesale.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Current Driver’s License and the willingness to travel throughout NSW
