Office All-Rounder - Accounting Business Maitland
Our client had the need for a full time permanent position for an office all-rounder to assist with general administrative tasks to support the Accounting team.  The job brief required a person with experience working in an Accounting firm and understanding accounting principals with previous exposure to Tax Returns, BAS, IAS and competent computer skills with XERO & MS Office applications and accurate data entry and typing skills.

From our job advertisements and marketing/networking campaigns we had 71 applicants apply for the role.  5 were shortlisted for review from our client and 3 were interviewed by our client before a successful placement was made.
Social Media Coordinator | Motor
Our client in the Maitland area specialises in Vehicle Performance Enhancement and we have worked with them since 2020 to fill 14 vacancies across various roles including Stores, Operations Coordinator, Senior Accounts & Trades Assistants.

Most recently we were engaged to source a Social Media CoOrdinator.  From our database we identified over 1000 candidates with matching skills and marketed the role across our network, in addition to online job advertising.  From a shortlist of 11 applications, we were able to successfully place a candidate as a result of our Hot Job Marketing to our database.

After my career in Tourism was decimated due to Covid-19, I had to evaluate my transferable skills and sought out a pathway to Recruitment.

Finding a meaningful way to help people and change lives was the key attraction and that’s what you’ll find me doing day in and day out.

What I like most about working in this sector is connecting with clients and candidates getting to the bottom of their stories.

My role with Recruit Personnel started in the trenches of recruitment where I got an invaluable understanding of the job market, our clients and the candidates we work with.

Now in my Business Development role, getting out and talking with clients and new businesses is what I find rewarding.  I get to solve that great puzzle of successful recruitment and particularly in this post-covid world (hopefully) there are new challenges to solve!
